The 100 Mile Ideas Diet - Localization

Localization: "A strategy to build societies based on the local production of food, energy and goods, and the local development of currency, governance and culture. The main goals of relocalization are to increase community energy security, to strengthen local economies, and to improve environmental conditions and social equity" (Post Carbon Institute).

The first in the localization series, this show features a presentation by Jon Steinman (Deconstructing Dinner) about a Community Food Matters gathering that took place in Nelson, British Columbia. It also features an interview with Paula Kiss, one of the speakers for the localization event and the founder/owner of the Building Tree, Nelson's green building hub.

Fane of the Cosmos - FANE…BE HEAR NOW…WALK LIKE AN OBAMANIAN AND HOPE YOU DONT GET EXTRADITED LIKE MARC EMERY

We kick it off with a double shot of Dr. Ring Ding and Sinead O’Connor. A triple shot you may ask…well in the studio I was shitting my pants because my computer wouldn’t work, that’s why. C-15 is like a dark shadow moving slowly at night. We hear from Wade Davis being interviewed by Sara Zacks. John Howard Societies comments in committee on bill C-15. Happy birthday to all Gemini’s with a Dr. Seuss birthday song. Then I play lots of Obamas speech in Cairo. Stunned by his comments, unbelievable really…yet always that thread of doubt. Chris Rock talks about Obama. Freestylers Obama into Gisto. Marc Emery into Robin Williamson and John Renbourne. I talk about how marc emery once helped the Holy Smoke by sending lawyer Brent Lokash to our aid one council meeting a long time ago. I would like the thank all the people who make this show possible, Natural Alchemy, Paul D (who helps with these podcasts!), Alan M, the volunteers at KCR, Terry, the freaks and the sponsor of the show. Phantom Forest Electrix. Visit the Fane website at faneofthecosmos.ca.

Universal Traveller - Channel to Know, the Mind Questions and the Heart Knows

Inspiration is "in spirited" and I definately proven as I fully Channel the second half of the show

Full Moon aligned with the center of our Galaxy and Squared Uranus and Saturn within hours of the show and really created a huge opening for downloading Universal Mind/Consciousness. Of Course as it is "The Blue Resonant Eagle of Flow" today: -Channel Spiritual Vision to bridge the worlds, for the mind to "know", and this certainly occurred suddenly during the show. This is Nelson B.C.'s (home town of this radio show) Galactic Signature or Mayan Birthday. Big Picture Vision went completely beyond Astrology this episode so hence a timeless information Source.

Break the Stereo - Break The Stereo June 06 2009 Part 1

Another hot and sweaty hour starting it off with Brothers Johnson. Some Sly with "Love And Hate". Jack Trombey kills it with a dirty track called "rock bed". J5 and Pras vs. Sting. Then we move into an extended O'Jays set with a new remix by Woodhead! The Meters with Fire on the Bayoo. What a killa track... then some Coldcut, All Good Funk Alliance and Matt the Alien remix of Ying Yang Twins. Crystal blue persuasion ya'll...wink
