The History Hour - The Modern Consciousness: stages and structures
Host Charles Jeanes gives a lengthly summary of the theorists of evolving consciousness, with an emphasis on Ken Wilber.
The Spiral Dynamics (Dr. Don Beck) model of Stages and Structures of Consciousness: colour coded stages are Beige, Purple, Red, Axial age,
Blue, Orange, Green, Yellow, (Turquoise, Coral to come). How Wilber explains each, and adds a caution about States of Consciousness.
Jeanes speaks briefly about the fifteenth century in Europe as it prepares for the transition to early modern historical times during the Italian Renaissance and the Waning of the Middle Ages.

Ian is touring through the Kootenays giving presentations on his 17 years of observation of two packs of wolves along BC's wild north coast. Matt speaks with the creators of the incredibly impactful and profound documentary, "What a way to Go - Life at the End of Empire". This film explores how humans might respond in the dieing days of the global capitalist empire. Local singer, songwriter extraordaire, Morien Jones plays a few songs in the studio.

On Fane this week I get my brain mapped and explained by the new Brain Harmony Center in Nelson. An amazing new technology that will change the way we heal.
We also continue our look at Stephen Harpers Fascist Shift using Naomi Wolfs boo “The End of America” as a guideline. This week we looked at how the manipulation of the press is one of the key ingredients to the shift. In this show we look at Harpers manipulations of the press in the House of Commons, not the least being:
Withholding basic announcements of visits by heads of state and premiers.
Issuing in-house photos of closed meetings between public officials, such as visiting premiers and heads of state, rather than allowing news photographers access.
Refusing to use the national press theatre, where simultaneous translation is provided, in favour of a more prime ministerial podium in the House of Commons foyer.
Making lists of media wishing to ask questions during availabilities, then picking and choosing which reporters get to ask those questions.
Allowing only technical staff, but not the customary two "pool'' reporters who relay events to the wider press gallery membership, into photo-ops.
We also continue our Trialogues called “Psychedelic and the Future of Computers”.
We discuss the recent cutting of deep sea internet and communications cables around the Muslim world and why the facts point to the United States… and its hatred of the new “Iranian Oil Burse” which will definitely weaken the US Dollar and in the end the whole economy. Economic sabotage….American style.
