Gender violence in Africa: Interview with Naida Hyde

Three meetings loom large in the coming weeks: WTO negotiations in Geneva; meetings of the IAEA and NSG; and the pan-African conference to end impunity on sexual and gender-based violence. The latter is likely the most meaningful and therefore commands the most of our attention. I caught up with Naida Hyde just before she moved from Nelson to Victoria. She has been doing trauma work with women for 30 years and had just come back from a project in Africa.
