Suzy Hamilton talks to National Wildlife Federation Senior Scientist Doug Oakley in Washington DC about the BP oil spill and his scientific assessment after being on site late May. In the second half she explores the Taseko Ltd's Prosperity Gold and Copper Mine proposal that is waiting for federal approval. The mine is in the heart of Xeni Gwet'in territory south west of Williams Lake, BC and will see a pristine lake full of 85,000 Rainbow Trout used as a tailings pond.
